Questions

Frequently asked sourcing questions.

Short answers for buyers and Turkish suppliers using Eurasia Supply.

What should I include in an RFQ?

Include product specs, quantity, material, finish, drawings or photos, destination, target delivery timing, budget context, packaging, labeling, and document requirements.

Can I upload drawings/spec sheets?

Yes. Upload only files you are authorized to share. Files may be stored for RFQ review, supplier matching, quote comparison, and admin recordkeeping.

How fast will I get a response?

Eurasia Supply reviews incoming RFQs first, then follows up by email. Timing depends on RFQ completeness and supplier response quality.

Are supplier names shown immediately?

No. Supplier options may be shown anonymously until sourcing terms and reveal steps are confirmed.

Why are supplier identities controlled?

Controlled reveal helps reduce bypass risk, protects the RFQ process, and keeps buyer/supplier communication commercially disciplined.

Does Eurasia Supply handle customs clearance?

Not by default. Customs clearance, import duties, product compliance, and importer responsibilities remain with the buyer unless separately agreed.

Does Eurasia Supply act as importer of record?

No, not unless separately agreed in writing. Eurasia Supply is a sourcing coordination and supplier comparison desk.

Can Turkish suppliers apply?

Yes. Manufacturers and exporters can apply for supplier network review. Application does not guarantee RFQ access.

Does applying guarantee RFQs?

No. Supplier use depends on category fit, documentation, response quality, compliance status, export readiness, and buyer demand.

What happens after supplier reveal?

Communication should keep Eurasia Supply copied, the RFQ ID should be used, and next steps such as samples, final quote, documents, and freight handoff are coordinated.

How are quotes compared?

Quotes are compared by price, currency, MOQ, lead time, Incoterms, payment terms, quote validity, document readiness, risk notes, assumptions, and missing questions.

What fees may apply?

Sourcing fees, success fees, supplier commissions, or other commercial terms may apply depending on the RFQ and agreements. Formal terms should be confirmed before supplier reveal or order steps.
